CounterStrain (FKA “DJ MD”) has been lighting up the UKG scene in the US rave underground for 25+ years!
Now based out of San Juan, PR & Rotterdam, NL; CounterStrain is Blending Latin + Afro-Caribbean rhythms with Garage & House grooves — expect syncopated beats, sultry vocals, & basslines that hit deep.
In addition to producing and DJing music, CounterStrain is also an active party promoter in Rotterdam and Amsterdam NL, throwing 2-4 events annually.
